Therapies I Offer
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

£80 per session.
CBT can help with anxiety, OCD, depression, eating disorders and trauma. It is a talking and doing therapy based on the theory that thoughts, feelings, what we do and how our body feels are connected. We will explore new insights and techniques to begin to face your fears and overcome the difficulties which get in the way of living your best life. CBT includes between-session practice to consolidate new skills learnt in session. I also integrate compassion focused therapy into my practice.
Emotionally Focused Couples Counselling

£80 per session
We will explore the negative cycles you get stuck in in order to reconnect at a deeper emotional level. Love is vital for our happiness and rediscovering that you can rely on your partner for your emotional needs is key to physical and mental wellbeing.
EFT usually takes between 12 and 20 sessions but sometimes couples feel better sooner. The number of sessions very much depends on you and your individual needs.

Feedback I’ve Received
Patient Experiences
I can honestly say Margaret has changed my life. She is the most caring, insightful, professional and trustworthy individual and I would highly recommend her services to anyone. She has inspired me to lead a more understanding, fulfilled and happier life and has given me the lifelong tools that enable me to take control of my mental health every day.
I decided to embark on CBT because I felt the way I was thinking, and my thought processes were having a very negative impact on my everyday life. I have suffered with anxiety, low mood and a lack of self-confidence for most of my life. I felt an instant sense that Margaret understood me and I was totally at ease and comfortable to talk to her about anything. Each week, I learnt something new about myself and also learnt coping strategies that I can apply into everyday life. She has helped me endlessly and now I feel very well equipped and more confident to carry what I have learnt and developed with her, into my life going forward.
I struggle to find words to sum up the impact my CBT sessions with Margaret have had on my life. I feel like for the first time in my life I have made REAL lasting progress with everything that has held me still for so long. CBT sessions with Margaret , focussing on my struggles with body image, food and anxiety have helped permanently change that feeling of almost drowning. I feel as though with Margaret’s guidance and support I was able to find a ledge to stand on, and then a ladder to get out of the water.
